Prof. Tarcisio added: "we believe that the active performance of more than 22,000 professionals from the institution as a whole, in collaboration with the Secretary of Health and the State of São Paulo, made and still makes a difference for health in São Paulo and in Brazil" .
Vice Governor Rodrigo Garcia said that the Government organized itself and sought to have the fight against the pandemic as an absolute priority, “for that, there was no lack of resources for the health area, in this regard I want to thank once again the HC who was fundamental, a beacon for São Paulo to be a reference for Brazil in relation to health”. From the Vice-Governor's perspective, there are still struggles ahead, however, given the current reality, "society will no longer accept a system like in the past, it will be more demanding" and, especially, it will be necessary "massive investment in research, science and knowledge production”.
