The coordinator of the area – Medicine III of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), from the Ministry of Education, Prof. Denise de Freitas have gathered, on September 17, with professors and the director, Prof. Jose Otavio Costa Auler Jr., of the Medical School of the Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP).

During the meeting, the Capes coordinator has presented a current panorama in the area of Medicine III, quoted the decree number 182, of august 18 of 2018, the four-year evaluation of 2017 and heard the considerations of coordinator teachers of the post-graduation programs of FMUSP. According to Prof. Denise, Capes wants “High-quality programs, with the formation of excellent professionals and teachers, who can make strategical partnerships, including international ones, among other premises which foster research in the country”.
