Physicians from the Clinical Emergencies Discipline at Hospital das Clínicas (HC), of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP), launched the 5th edition of the book Intensive Medicine – Practical Approach, by Manole publisher.

The autores are: Luciano César Pontes de Azevedo, Leandro Utino Taniguchi, José Paulo Ladeira and Bruno Adler Maccagnan Pinheiro Besen.

The work brings, among other topics, new practices in the face of sepsis (generalized infection) situations.

The autograph signing took place in the hall of the Central Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas (ICHC), on September 21, with the participation of Prof. Milton de Arruda Martins, Head of the Clinical Medicine Department and President of the FMUSP Graduation Committee, and other health authorities.
