During a gathering at the Congregation Room of FMUSP for the discussion of several subjects on February 22nd, professor Aluisio Segurado, president of the International Relations Committee (CRInt) of FMUSP, has announced the renewal of the short and long term Santander Scholarships accord, aimed at the promotion of international mobility for graduation students.
The short term accord for international mobility, meaning, for a program of less than two months, was signed to finance twenty (20) scholarships valid for all FMUSP partner institutions. The long term mobility accord, which finances graduation students to remain a year at the Harvard University, in the United States, was also renewed and will count on 15 annual scholarships for the program. The Harvard scholarships allows the FMUSP student to participate in programs and projects in the research laboratories of the Harvard Medical School Hospital and also at the Harvard School of Public Health.
“We appreciate the partnership not only with FMUSP, but also with the University as a whole, for this initiative that shows a social sensibility and a care for the public cause”, says the FMUSP director, professor Tarcisio Eloy Pessoa de Barros Filho.
Santander was ranked on the 2018 Fortune Magazine as one of the institutions among the those with a bigger global social influence for its strategical actions, especially for the contribution to the education sector.
