The “Permanent Exposition: Portraits of FMUSP Deans”, had its collection increased, on October 29th, for 28 portraits, which represent all of the former directors of the Medical School of the Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP).
The new portrait included in the collection is the one of Prof. Jose Otavio Costa Auler Junior, director from October 2014 to October 2018, and active director from 2011 to 2013. The oil painting was made by the artist Marcus Claudio, who also have done some of the previous paintings.
The new Director of the Medical School, Prof. Tarcisio Eloy Pessoa de Barros Filho, was present. The exposition occupies the second and third floors of the Main Building of FMUSP.
It was inaugurated on the same day an interactive totem at the third floor’s hall, which allows searches by name or department, of information on Titular Professors of the institution. This project was accomplished by the Historical Museum.
