The public defender Carlos Alberto Souza de Almeida Filho, current Vice-Governor and Secretary of Health of the State of Amazonas, has visited the Medical School of the Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP) and the Institute of Cancer of the State of São Paulo (ICESP), which integrates the complex of the Clínicas Hospital, on December 21st of 2018.
At the Medical School, Carlos Alberto has participated in a meeting with Prof. Yassuhiko Okay, Head of the office of the FMUSP Directory and Dr. Felipe Neme de Souza, Executive Director of FMUSP. At ICESP, he was welcomed by Prof. Roger Chammas, Vice-Director of FMUSP and Titular of Basic Oncology at ICEPS and by Dr. Gustavo Albuquerque, Medical Assistant of the Executive Directory of ICESP.
The reason for the visit was so the Secretary of Health could meet other administrative practices, processes and instruments of management in health.
