The inauguration ceremony of the new board of directors of the Academia de Medicina de São Paulo took place on March 7, 2023, at the Auditorium of the Associação Paulista de Medicina. The members for the 2023-2024 biennium were sworn, in which, is now chaired by Dr. Helio Bigliomini. Among which, professors of Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP) make up the summit, they are: Prof. Paul M. Pêgo Fernandes, Prof. Edmund Chada Baracat, and Prof. Linamara Rizzo Battistella.
